Hello from Portland –
As someone who makes his living promoting and selling the works of the talented designers, illustrators and photographers who have created some of the best-known album covers of the past 40+ years, I’m always happy to see postings and articles by others in the design field that talk about how album cover design has influenced them (and pop culture in general).
A group of folks I know are working on creating an Album Cover Hall of Fame web site this year, so keep your eyes peeled – hope that you agree with our initial selections and that you’ll comment on them and future ones as well.
Keep up the good work
Cheers – Mike G – RockPoP Gallery – Portland, OR
