It’s important as designers we study who’s come before us. There’s an insurmountable number of ads, covers, brochures, and posters we can look at. This is a collection of a few that caught my eye as doing something right. For the most part, the majority of these ads would even look good to today’s trends. There are a couple in there that are just so bizarre, I wanted to throw them in there.

I stumbled across a really neat website called “Vintage Ad Browser“. It’s pretty self explanatory as to what it is, and even more obvious how to view ads from 1900 to today when you visit the site. Anyhow, on with the show! And my respects to Eazy E and family.
